Preaching is important work. You don’t have to do it alone.
There are countless resources that will offer you one-size-fits-all preaching methods, tips, and tricks. But, there is only one you! Each preacher is unique – with unique strengths, weaknesses, and experiences. And each preaching context is equally as unique. Preaching Coaching offers a partner to join you where you are, and, to accompany you as you explore how you can grown and flourish as the unique and authentic preacher you are.
Preaching Coaching doesn’t offer quick fixes, advice, or cheap affirmation. It does not assume there is one right way to preach. Peer Preaching Coaching is about collaboration and curiosity, exploration and self-discovery, and moving together toward more authentic, fulfilling, and compelling preaching.
Coaching is helpful to all preachers who desire to strengthen their preaching, to draw out their unique voice, and to infuse new life into their preaching ministry.

Now Forming Winter/Spring 2026 Small Groups!
Group Coaching
Group preaching coaching can take various forms. Mandy can work with an already established group, you can create a small group yourself, or the you can join a group Mandy is putting together. Each group agrees to learn from each other over a determined time frame and coaching is conducted online. Typically group sessions run between 1.5-2 hours. However, there is flexibility to build a small group framework that meets what your unique needs and goals. Reach out and let’s build what will benefit you most!
Individual Coaching
Each preacher-coach relationship is different because each preacher is unique. Coaching explores the aspects of preaching that the preacher determines would be most helpful, or, is most needed. During a complementary session, we will work together to identify the particular areas of focus for our work. Sessions are virtual and typically one hour long. The preacher determines the most helpful frequency of meeting. There is flexibility to support the needs of each preacher. Reach out and let’s build what will benefit you most!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“Peer coaching with this master ‘question-asker’ at the helm is a delight. Mandy England Cole has a passion and energy for the craft of preaching that extends far beyond an attention to the quality of a sermon’s content. She is genuinely attentive to the well-being and growth of the preacher, as well as the experience of the hearers. This was so refreshing to me and granted me space to explore and experiment with new techniques and ideas in my sermon preparation and delivery.“
– Emma Loane, UCC minister in Kentucky
“Mandy is a wise and artful guide to helping preachers find the path to growth in their preaching identity and preaching practice. I have seen her coaching in action and The Bridge for Early Career Preachers entrusts our coaching program to her leadership. I cannot think of anyone I’d rather have to walk with preachers on their journey to improve their preaching.“
– Rich Voelz, Associate Professor of Preaching and Worship, Union Presbyterian Seminary and Program Director of The Bridge for Early Career Preachers
“Mandy England Cole is the kind of preaching coach I would like to have. She trusts God’s Spirit to lead the process, listens with deep curiosity, and comes alongside her clients as she helps them discover new insights and confidence in their preaching.“
– John S. McClure, Professor Emeritus of Preaching and Worship Vanderbilt Divinity School
“I had the privilege of being coached by Mandy as part of a cohort for early career preachers. Mandy is exactly what you want in a peer preaching coach. She not only listens well, but she also listens with an ear toward the specific areas you are seeking to learn and grow in. She asks great questions that invite you into the process, which is critical to the experience because the only way change and growth happen are with your buy-in. If you’d like to grow holistically as a preacher, I can’t think of a better person to help you get there than Mandy.“
– Darren, UMC minister in Tennessee
